Nomina sunt Omina

Nomina Sunt Omina translates as "Names are Omens," and is based on the belief that the name you are given, somewhat directs your life's path. Musically, I borrowed material from the Catholic Mass to create a work that explores the motif in traditional and contemporary ways. The work was commissioned and premiered by Duo XXI.
